Some hints for those of you at the end of your
ropes, in frustration.
While you are a kid.
Can't figure out how to hold more than 99 rupees?
Kill as many gold skultullas(the spider things) as possible.
Once you have killed 10 or 20 go back to the house where everyone is a
spider in kakariko village. One of the children will have returned to
normal and gives you an adult's wallet. Which allows you to carry 200
rupees. Spiffy huh?
Darunia is in a bad mood you say?
Go to the lost woods and talk to Saria.
Big brother will groove to her tunes and he'll give you a bracelet to
boot.
How does one get to the zora's domain?
Pick up the chicken and it will carry you over the fast moving stream.
Make sure you try the diving contest.
Ssome things you should do as a kid
visit the ranch.
buy magic beans and plant them in those mounds of soft soil that had
you so puzzled. You will need to go back and plant a lot of them many of
the spots are near temple warp points.
play the bombchu game.
visit the two great faeries
sell all of the masks
Play music with the froggies
When you're big
Sheikah says you're not equipped to go to the forest temple.
If you haven't figured it out already start yanking on the
gravestones in kakariko village graveyard.
Try the ones with flowers first.
Don't have enough keys for the forest castle?
Did you climb the vines on the walls of the courtyard(where the two
wolves are)? Use the hookshot to get over on top of the other tree and
open the little treasure chest-presto another key.
What is the Goron special crop?
Bombs, use them a lot in the fire temple especially on switches.
What is the weakness of volvagia?
Okay the zoras are frozen solid now what?
Go out to where lord jabu-jabu was and jump off othe the little
icebergs (to the left) until you come to a cave. Get allof those
wierd silver rupees in the propeller room to open the door.
I have to go underwater right?
Use the iron boots and the zora tunic.
The king zora gives it to you. Thaw him out with some blue fire that
you've
caught in a bottle.
Stuck in the water temple?
In the center section of the temple where you raise the water.
Aafter you raise the water level go back down to the bottom(watch out
for the spikes!) and see where that brick was. it's floated up to the
top and left a hole where it was sitting at the lowest water level.
That should get you unstuck.
How do I get the eye of truth?
You must go back in time and
play the song of storms inside of the windmill but first you must
learn the song from the guy in the windmill as an adult. (this is
what's called a causality loop) playing the song in the past will
empty the well. Go inside and watch for fake walls. You'll have to
use the nocturne of the shadow to get inside the temple.
Got on the ship but can't get to the other side where the boss
is.
Well I think that there aare two ways to do this but I had to
use one to get the other to work. So here goes. Okay there's a statue
over on the other side with a bunch of bomb flowers at it's base so I
thought it would be great to throw a bomb over there to set off the
flowers and cause the statue to fall creating a bridge. I tried
everything the hover boots bombchus and whether it was just plain bad
timing or whatever It wouldn't work. Do you remember the scarecrow
from when you were little? You played a song for him right(the one
with the long memory) Well go back there and play it back to him and
that song will be the scarecrow's song. If you can't remember what you
played just go back in time and play another one for him.
Play it on the
bit of
statue on the right(in the shadow temple) and a scarecrow will magically
appear on a ledge above your head use the hookshot and latch onto it.
You can now set off the bomb flowers from this side and yes you will
get a bridge out of the deal. Now you get to go fight Bongo Bongo
FUUN
Okay here's another tip for the shadow temple
In the room with the fans you can hang on to the edges of some of the
walkways and hang there until the fans stop blowing.
Where the hell is that last carpenter in the gerudo fortress?
Okay on the left side as you face the fortess there is a long
platform with no doors on it jump down on the side away from the
prison they throw you in and go into the inner and leftmost door.
You must shoot or hookshot the guard to get to him.
I'm stuck in gannon's castle
More than likely you haven't
gotten the golden gauntlets from the shdow room. use your eye of
truth and press the button that you find near the door.
