Ronan Reptiles resemble earth's reptiles of the past
in their diversity of size and shape. Large sauropods roam the
Ronan Plains and Carnosaurs stalk the forest edges. Other smaller
species fill the niches that are filled by mammals on earth.

The porigria is roughly the Ronan equivalent of a hyena. They have powerful
jaws and forelegs and are often scavengers but are capable hunters on the plains.

The Raptornis is a nocturnal
pack hunter. During the day they fly high in the sky and follow the herds of herbivores.
At dusk the decend to the ground near their intended prey and approach on foot when it
is dark.
Mammals
Mammals are very rare on Rona.
Those that are present were imported from earth Tens of thousands of years ago.
The species that were imported were a few predatory cats and a few species of frui
t and nectar eating bats.
