Floribundas are modern roses. They arose from a cross of the polyanthas and
the Hybrid teas. Now they are crossed so much with hybrid teas as to be indistinguishable.
For me, they lack the charm and character of old roses. One exception to this rule
is Scentimental. It actually includes an old rose in it's breeding and therefore resembles one.
