Father Hugo's Rose

Father Hugo's Rose is a large shrub. It is among the earliest flowering of all roses. Although it's flowering season is short, the fact that it is first makes it the most anticipated rose in my garden. The plant itself is also very lovely even when not in flower because of it's airy, ferny leaves. It requires virtually no care and gets no diseases. It is suitable for a wide range of climates and makes a good foundation plant for areas where a large shrub is needed.
