Name | Sex | Where purchased | Description |
Canis | M | Petstore | His fins were basically gone but his personality wasn't. Almost doglike in his affections- hence the name. |
Quatre | M | Meijer | Yellow male with a smoke butterfly pattern. The best
betta father I've ever seen. Some males are easily distracted, but not this guy undivided and totally devoted to his fry.The funny thing was in the store he basically would not
flare at all and so I was really worried he's be tstb. But after a bunch of blackworms he was great |
Glory | M | Petstore | Red white and blue cambodian with possibly some marbling. Likely to be related to Canis and |
Superman | M | Petstore | Lots of blue and lots of red. The most likely marbled out of the three(Canis, Glory and Superman) |
Ryoko | F | Bayou Bettas | DT yellow. When I got her she was completely full of eggs. She spawned only two days after she came in the mail! Not only that but after the spawning
I put her in with her sister and she proceeded to try to beat the tar out of her. I separated them but
she is still incredibly dominant and flares quite a bit for a female. Has a less defined split in her tail
than her sister and she has what looks like a bump on one side of her head? |
Pacella | F | Bayou Bettas | DT yellow. Ryoko's sister and also inclined to spar. Will likely be the mother of my next spawn. |
Platano | M | Bayou Bettas | Yellow double tail male. All of the bettas I got from Bayou bettas were a golden yellow in color. This one is the smaller
of the two males I got and his double tail is in the shape of a V. |
Pyrite | M | Bayou Bettas | The larger and prettier of the two males. For some reason they will only flare with each other
not with other males. |
Spatter | M | Petstore | A blue and red marble. I searched through a box of 100 bettas
that the store had newly received just to find him. Seems to be a bit on the tstb side. |
Chip | M | Petstore | Blue white opaque possibly marble as his coloring is worn in tiny spots. A little male but with an attitude.
Has virtually No red except for a nearly microscopic fleck or two. |
