I'm a graduate student at Michigan State University. Here I'm working in Phytoremediation that is the use of plants to remove, sequester or detoxify toxic wastes. My research project deals with improving PCB bioremediation. Hopefully I'll be making transgenic plants soon.
There has been a lot of debate on the issue of transgenic plants. I hope to have a section of my site dedicated to those isssues soon.
I have all sorts of interests other than my research also although my time for them is rather sporadic. I really like to play pokemon and write poetry and javascripts on occasion. I also enjoy artistic pursuits as well as the outdoors. Mushroom hunting, fishing and almost anything outdoors is great fun for me. Anyway, I'm a rather creative person- I made up a whole planet.
