The Legend of Zelda:Link's Awakening

It's amazing how far Game boy cartriges have come since I first got my game boy. Link's Awakening is a very entertaining story supposedly taking place after Z3 a Link to the Past. Very fun. If you haven't played it try it out. It can give you a zelda fix until the 23rd :)

Tips and stuff that was really annoying

Since it was released at about the same time as A link to the past a lot of the secrets to the games are the same.

How to get dungeon keys

Deep Dark Secrets of Koholint

Sequence of trades that evetually give you the magnifying glass.
Get the yoshi doll from the game in the village you start in. Give it to the lady in the northmost house in the village she's holding a baby. She will give you a ribbon which you chould give to the little dog in the dog house next to Madame Meow Meow's. It will give you a can of Dog food which you should take to the gator's house down by the beach. He will give you some banannas which you should take to the outskirts of the palace where Kiki the monkey, who's also found in Z3 except there he want's rupees, will build a bridge for you and leave a stick behind. You give the stick to a guy in the plains next to the starting vilage and he will knock down a bee's nest with it. after that take the honeycomb to animal village and give it to a bear that it cooking. He will give you a pineapple which you should take up to the moutain and give to Papahl Who's stranded up there. He'll give you a hybiscus flower which you should take back to animal village and give to the goat girl. she'll give you a letter to take to the lonely guy up in near Tal Tal heights. He'll give you a broom in return which you should give to Ulira's wife who has suddenly lost her broom. She will give you a fish hook which you should take under the bridge near the mermaid statue. You should catch the mermaid's necklace which you should then give to the mermaid who is hanging out nearby in the bay. She will give you a scale from her tail. Take it to the mermaid statue and put it in and the statue will slide to one side and you'll find the magnifying glass inside. Which you should take to the library and enable you to read "Deep dark secrets of Koholint" WHEW!

Of course you could just look under the Deep Dark Secrets of Koholint section and I'll have the directions inside the egg, but what fun would that be?
